Adventures In Bridge Special Events

 

 

Congratulations to all the winners at the La Jolla Sectional! Adventures In
Bridge had many of our players winning lots of masterpoints! 

 

All of our games today, Wednesday June 1st, are GNT Fund Raising games,
which pay extra MP's for award winners. Morning game starts at 10:30;
Non-Life Master game tonight starts at 6:45 PM and our Masters' game
(Flights A&B) starts at 7:00 PM. Please plan on attending these games today.

 

Our Friday morning game starts at 10:30 AM with a free brunch at 10:00. All
Friday games award extra MP's. We will have a separate NLM section if we
have at least 4 Non-Life Master tables.

 

Friday night, June 3rd at 7:00 PM is our highlight stratified game of the
week. We will have our Worldwide Bridge Contest. These hands are played at
all clubs all around the World. There is a souvenir booklet with all the
hands with commentary by World Champion Eric Kokish. The overall winners
will receive half red and half black masterpoints. The top two winners in
our district will have their names in the ACBL Bulletin and the World
Champions will receive bonus points and prizes. The entry fee is $10 per
person.

 

This Saturday, June 4th is National Donut day. Our Non-Life master game at
10:00 AM will have a lesson on New Minor Forcing. Our Noon game is an Open
Stratified Barometer game. Free lunch is at 11:30 AM with donuts served all
day long. This should be fun for everyone.

 

Sunday, June 5th is the San Diego Unit game starting at 1:00 PM. This is the
annual award and election party. Brunch starts at 11:30 AM with awards at
Noon. This game is in Point Loma, so please make reservations at the bridge
club and get directions to the location of the game and party in Point Loma.


 

Saturday, June 11th is our monthly Birthday/Awards game. Free chicken dinner
is at 5:30 PM and the game starts at 6:30 PM. All those with birthdays in
June play for free!
