Adventures In Bridge Special Events

 

 

The Pacific Southwest Regional starts on Monday, March 21st at the Sheraton!
We hope everyone has fun and wins lots of gold points! We have many parties
this week before the Regional and hope you are able to attend a few of them.

 

Wednesday mornings we have a brunch at 10:00 AM with a Non-Life Master game
at 10:30 and a Master's (Flights A & B) game starting at 10:30.

 

This Wednesday evening is the last chance for the Non-Life Masters (and
under 500 MP's) to qualify for the District Grand National Teams that will
be played at the San Diego Regional (on Saturday & Sunday). Please get your
Swiss Team together and join us at 6:45 PM on Wed (3/16) to play the Swiss
Qualifying game. 

 

On Thursday, we will be celebrating St. Patrick's Day with bridge and good
food. We will have St. Patrick's Day food and snacks starting at 11:30 AM.
The Non-Life Master game starts at 10:00 AM and our Open Stratified Game
starts at Noon. 

 

This Friday will be our last Friday game that starts at Noon. Starting
Friday, April 1st, and every Friday thereafter, our Friday games will start
at 10:30 AM. We hope this time will help alleviate the Friday traffic
congestion when the game ends, about 1:30.

 

Friday at 7:00 PM is our Wine & Cheese night game. We will have a separate
Non-Life Master Section and an Open Section. Please bring a dish to share
and receive $2.00 off the entry fee. 

 

Saturday at 10:00 AM is our Non-Life Master game with a lesson on "Competing
Over the Opponent's No Trump". At Noon, is our Barometer game which is an
Open Stratified game. 

 

Saturday Night at 5:30 is a free dinner. We have a 6:30 Stratified Open
Birthday/Awards game. Those with Birthdays in March and those winning awards
in February will play for free. Please plan on attending this festive, once
per month, game. 

 

Sunday, March 20th is the San Diego Unit game starting at 1:00 PM. There is
a separate Non-Life Master Section starting at 1:00 PM, also. A brunch will
be served at 12:15 PM, prior to the game. For those having friends wanting
to learn bridge, we have an Easybridge class at 1:30 PM every Sunday. Please
have them come and learn this fantastic game in a fun, social setting.

 

We have a limited schedule of games during the week of the Regional:

 

Monday, March 21st - Noon Winners game - Open Stratified - Winners play free
for the week!

Tuesday, March 22nd - Both a Non-Life Master game and Open Stratified game
at 11:00 AM.

Wednesday, March 23rd - Both a Non-Life Master game and Open Stratified game
at 10:30 AM.

Wednesday, March 23rd - A Non-Life Master game at 6:45 PM.

Thursday, March 24th - Both a Non-Life Master game and Open Stratified game
at 11:00 AM.

 

We will be closed, Friday March 25th, Saturday, March 26th and Sunday, March
27th.
