Adventures In Bridge Activities

 

 

This Friday night's game, Jan 28th at 7:00 PM will be a last chance Coronado
Unit North American Pairs Unit Qualifying game. Please join us for a
stratified game (Flights A, B & C) that could qualify you for the District
Finals being held at the Anaheim Regional. The overall awards will be worth
extra MP's.  Please bring a pot luck dish or beverage to share and you
receive $2 off your entry. These nights are a fun way to enjoy bridge and
meet new friends.

 

Saturday, January 29th at Noon is the ACBL-Wide International Fund Game -
Stratified Pairs.  Proceeds from this game help fund our International
teams. The MP's are huge, awarding half red and half black points. 

 

Sunday, January 30th at 1:00 PM is the San Diego Unit's Flight A & B Grand
National Teams Qualifying Game. In addition to the team game, we will have a
Unit Game starting at 1:00, also. There is a free brunch at 12:15 and
separate Non-Life Master game at 1:00 PM.  Please call Bert at (619)
222-4302 if you need a partner or teammates.

 

Please join us Sunday, February 6th at 1:00 PM for a pre-Super Bowl Bridge
party. We will have a Unit Championship game at 1:00 and also a 299er game.
There is a free brunch at 12:15. Please call Bert at (619) 222-4302 if you
need a partner or teammates.

 

Monday night is our Mentor/Mentee night. We have recruited more mentors, so
we're accepting additional Non-Life Masters who would like to learn more
about their game, at a great price! Game time is 7:00 PM every Monday night.
This game is also Open to everyone.

 

Wednesday, February 2nd will be our Master's Flight A & B Anniversary Party.
This game at 7:00 is open to all Life Master's and pays extra MP's if you're
in the overalls. Come and party, play some good bridge and help celebrate
the first year.

 

February will be Grand National Team Qualifying month. Look for special
Swiss Team games this month so you may qualify for the District Finals.

 

Our annual 299er Sectional is at the club on February 12th and 13th. Silver
points will be awarded. Sunday, February 20th is the Non-Life Master Unit
Grand National Teams Qualifying games. This is a two-session event and will
award Gold Points to the winners. 

 

Tuesday, February 15th is our Pot Luck Day. All three games, 10:00 AM 299er,
Noon Open Stratified and Noon Refresher Bridge games  will have a Pot Luck
Food Festival Day. Bring a dish to share with others in the club.

 

Sunday, February 20th at 1:00 PM is the San Diego Unit's Flight C Grand
National Teams Qualifying Game (Two Sessions - Overalls pay Gold Points). In
addition to the team game, we will have a Unit Game starting at 1:00, also.

Our February Birthday/Awards party is Saturday, February 26th at 6:30 PM.

 

Inter Club Championship games in February are Tuesday, Feb 8th at Noon and
Wednesday, Feb 23rd at 10:30 AM.
