Upcoming Events Adventures In Bridge

 

 

Friday night games are at 7:00 PM with the social hour starting at 6:00 PM.
Please bring a pot luck dish or beverage to share and you receive $2 off
your entry. These nights are a fun way to enjoy bridge and meet new friends.

 

Saturday, January 15th at Noon is our Barometer game. A free lunch is at
11:30. 

 

Our January Birthday/Awards party is Saturday, January 15th at 6:30 PM. The
free dinner is at 5:30 PM.  Those with January Birthdays play for Free!
Chicken dinner is served at 5:30 PM with the game starting at 6:30 PM. This
game is open to everyone! 

 

Sunday, January 16th at 1:00 PM is the San Diego Unit's Board-A-Match Team
Game. Please get a team together and come and play. There is a free brunch
at 12:15 and separate Non-Life Master game at 1:00 PM.  We will find
partners and teammates for everyone that needs them. Please call Bert at
(619) 222-4302 if you need a partner or teammates.

 

Monday, January 17th is our Martin Luther King BBQ at 11:30 with our
Winner's Game starting at Noon. First place in the Open Flight and 1st Place
in the Non-Life Master's Flight play Free for the rest of the week.

 

Thursday, January 20 at Noon is our Coufal Stratified Pairs Inter Club
Championship game.

 

Friday, January 28th at 7:00 PM is a North American Pairs Unit Qualifying
Game (single session). This is the last chance to qualify at the Unit level
for the District Finals which will be held at the Anaheim Regional. All
three flights may qualify in the Stratified Pairs game. Extra MP's will be
awarded to the winners. This is a Coronado Unit #519 sponsored Unit
Qualifying game.

 

Saturday, January 29th at Noon is our ACBL-Wide International Fund Game.
Extra MP's are awarded and are 50% Red and 50% Black at sectional rating. If
you are in need of red points, this is the game to play in!

 

Sunday, January 30th at 1:00 PM is the San Diego Unit's Flight A & B Grand
National Teams Qualifying Game. In addition to the team game, we will have a
Unit Game starting at 1:00, also. There is a free brunch at 12:15 and
separate Non-Life Master game at 1:00 PM.  Please call Bert at (619)
222-4302 if you need a partner or teammates.

 

February will be Grand National Team Qualifying month. Look for special
Swiss Team games this month so you may qualify for the District Finals.

 

Our annual 299er Sectional is at the club on February 12th and 13th. Silver
points will be awarded. Sunday, February 20th is the Non-Life Master Unit
Grand National Teams Qualifying games. This is a two-session event and will
award Gold Points to the winners. 

 

Tuesday, February 15th is our Pot Luck Day. All three games, 10:00 AM 299er,
Noon Open Stratified and Noon Refresher Bridge games  will have a Pot Luck
Food Festival Day. Bring a dish to share with others in the club.

 

Our February Birthday/Awards party is Saturday, February 26th at 6:30 PM.

 

Inter Club Championship games in February are Tuesday, Feb 8th at Noon and
Wednesday, Feb 23rd at 10:30 AM.
