Adventures In Bridge Special Events

 

 

Our first Pro-Am Game is on Monday, Oct 18th at 7:00 PM. Adventures In
Bridge is signing up Mentors and Mentees for our Fall Mentor Program. Please
sign-up or call the club, 619-287-8313, to offer assistance to newer bridge
players, or to get free advice from more experienced bridge players.
Teachers play for free and mentees pay $12. This will be a win/win for
everyone. Every Monday night we will have special games for mentors and
mentees.

 

Friday, October 15th at 7:00 PM is our Wine & Cheese Club Appreciation Game.
Please bring a potluck dish, play some exciting bridge and meet a new
friend, tonight!

 

Saturday, Oct 16, Tues, Oct 19th and Thurs, Oct 21st are our Non-Life Master
Swiss Team games at 10:00 AM. Gold Points will be awarded to all who win
team matches and overall winners.

            

Sunday, October 17th at 1:00 PM is the District-Wide Charity Pairs Game.
Since 1964, the ACBL Charity Foundation has made substantial contributions
to a wide range of charitable organizations. The charity for this game is
the Alzheimer's Association. Hand analyses and a substantial number of MP's
are available for this special, district-wide game. Please attend. Entry fee
is $7.50.

 

Monday, October 18th at Noon, Tuesday, October 19th at Noon, and Wednesday,
Oct 20th at 10:30 AM are Stratified Club Appreciation Swiss Team events. Get
your team and come participate. Masterpoints awarded are at the Sectional
Rating level and 5% of those MP's will be Gold. If you're in need of Gold
Points, this is your chance to earn some. 

 

Wednesday, Oct 27th at 10:30 AM and 7:00 PM (Flights A&B) is a Barometer
Game.  This will be scored as a two-session event for those wishing to play
in both the morning and evening game. Overalls will be awarded for each
single session, and the double-session event.

 

Thursday, Oct 28th at 10:00 AM will be our Non-Life Master Barometer Game. 

 

Thursday, October 28th at Noon is an Inter Club Championship. 

 

Saturday, October 23rd at 6:30 is our October Awards/Birthday celebration
with a Club Appreciation Pairs Game (lots of MP's awarded). September Award
winners and those with October Birthdays play for Free! Chicken dinner is
served at 5:30 PM with the game starting at 6:30 PM.

 

Saturday, October 30th at Noon & 6:30 PM is our annual Halloween Costume
Party Game. Come to each session, or both (overalls for those attending both
sessions) and enjoy a fantastic Halloween Bridge party, all day long! We
will have snacks and a Costume Party during the night game.

 

Friday, November 12th, 13th and 14th is the Coronado/Chula Vista Sectional
at our club. 

 

Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 25th at 1:00 PM will be a Club
Championship Pot Luck Thanksgiving Day game. Please bring a dish to share.
The club will serve Turkey and Ham.
