Welcome to October at Adventures in Bridge.

 

Friday, October 1st at 7:00 PM is our Wine & Cheese Club Championship.
Please bring a potluck dish, play some exciting bridge and meet a new
friend, tonight!

            

Saturday, October 2nd, at Noon is a Club Championship, for those not
attending the famous Vista Sectional this weekend. 

 

Sunday, October 3rd at 1:00 PM is our San Diego Unit game. 

 

Monday, October 4th at Noon; Wednesday, Oct 6th at 10:30 AM, 6:45 PM
(Non-Life Masters) and 7:00 PM (Flights A & B); and Saturday at 10:00 AM
(Non-Life Masters) are Club Appreciation games. (MP's awarded are black
points at 85% of Sectional Awards). October is Club Appreciation Month!

 

Friday, October 8th at Noon, is a Club Appreciation Swiss Team event. Get
your team and come participate. Masterpoints awarded are at the Sectional
Rating level and 5% of those MP's will be Gold. If you're in need of Gold
Points, this is your chance to earn some. 

 

BAROMETER GAME - Saturday, October 9th at Noon. Free lunch at 11:30 AM. Come
join us for an exciting afternoon of bridge and play in the Barometer Game!
Wednesday, October 27th at 10:30 AM and at 7:00 PM (Flights A&B) is our
Halloween Barometer Game! 

 

Wednesdays are two-session events, play in either the morning or evening
session, and get overall awards in each, or play in both and get even more
MP's if you finish in the overalls for both sessions!

 

BAROMETER GAME - Monday, October 11th at Noon. Free lunch at 11:30 AM. 

 

Wednesday, October 13th at 10:30 is an Inter Club Championship. The 6:45 NLM
and 7:00 Flights A&B games on October 13th will be club appreciation games.

 

Sunday, October 17th at 1:00 PM is the District-Wide Charity Pairs Game.
Since 1964, the ACBL Charity Foundation has made substantial contributions
to a wide range of charitable organizations. The charity for this game is
the Alzheimer's Association. Hand analyses and a substantial number of MP's
are available for this special, district-wide game. Please attend. Entry fee
is $7.50.

 

Our first Pro-Am Game is on Monday, Oct 18th at 7:00 PM. Adventures In
Bridge is signing up Mentors and Mentees for our Fall Mentor Program. Please
sign-up to offer assistance to newer bridge players, or to get free advice
from more experience bridge players.  

 

Saturday, October 24th at 6:30 is our October Awards/Birthday party.

 

Saturday, October 30th at Noon & 6:30 PM is our annual Halloween Costume
Party Game. Come to each session, or both (overalls for those attending both
sessions) and enjoy a fantastic Halloween Bridge party, all day long!
