Friday, September 17th at 7:00 PM is our Wine & Cheese Club Championship.
Since September is 49er month (all games pay sectionally-rated MP's), we
will have a separate section of players for the 49ers if we get at least 8
pairs of 49ers. The Open section will play the club championship, getting
credit for the 49ers section, also. We will do this on Friday, Sept 24 at
7:00 PM, also.

            

The rest of September is 49er month. All our 49er games will pay
sectionally-rated Masterpoints. Our 49er games are on Mondays at 7:00 PM and
Tuesdays at Noon. We will also have 49er sections (if at least 8 pairs) on
Fridays at 7:00 PM, Saturday, Sept 18th at 6:30 PM and Wednesday, Sept 29th
at 6:45 PM.

 

Saturday, September 18th is Club Championship Day. At 10:00 AM, the Unit 539
will have their annual Knockout Team Event. We will have our 299'er Club
Championship game with a lesson, starting at 10:00 AM. At Noon, we will have
a Stratified Club Championship. At 6:30 PM is our Stratified Club
Championship Awards/Birthday Party. Those receiving awards and those with
Birthdays in September play for FREE. There will be a complimentary chicken
dinner at 5:30 for those playing in the 6:30 PM game. 

 

On Sunday, September 19th at 1:00 PM, the Unit 539 will have their
Stratified Unit game.

 

Club Championships the rest of the month are Monday, Sept 20th at 7 PM;
Tues, Sept 21st at 10:30 AM and Noon; Fri, Sept 24th at Noon; Tues, Sept
28th at Noon; Wed, Sept 29th at 10:00 AM, 6:45 PM & 7:00 PM; and Thur, Sept
30th at Noon. 

 

We have an Intra Club Championship game at Noon on Monday, Sept. 27th.
Congratulations to Lois Borden & Carol Wing who finished 9th overall
nationally at the Sept 14th ICC Game. 

 

September is the beginning of the Grand National Team Qualifying Swiss Team
events. MP's awarded are half red/black and received for the overalls as
well as matches won. We will hold GNT Swiss Team events on Wed, Sept 22 at
6:45 PM (for non-life masters) and at 7:00 PM (for Flights A & B); Saturday,
Sept 25th at Noon & 6:30 PM for all Flights (Stratified); and Tuesday, Sept
28th at 10:30 AM for non-life masters. 

 

October is ACBL Club Appreciation month. We will have several pairs game
which pay lots of MP's. In addition, we will have several Swiss Team events
which pay gold, red and black points. If you're in need of gold, please get
your team ready for these events.

 

Monday, October 4 at 7:00 PM will start our mentoring program. Every Monday
we will have games and hands designed specifically for mentoring pairs. Of
course, this game is open to all and will continue to be an IMP game.

 

Saturday, October 24th at 6:30 is our October Awards/Birthday party.

 

Saturday, October 30th at 6:30 is our annual Halloween Costume Party Game.
