Inter Club Championship – Tuesday, June 22, Noon: Many MP’s Earned – Compete
with many other ACBL Clubs World-Wide!

 

North American Pairs Qualifying – (Half Red/Half Black Overall Awards) –
Many of our afternoon games are NAP. Please join us for the increased MP
awards! Here’s a listing of our NAP games for June:

Wed, June 16 7:00 PM – Flights A & B; Flight C will be played separately. 

Thur - Jun 17 – Noon

Fri – Jun 18 7:00 PM

Tues – June 22 Noon

Wed – June 23 10:30 am

Wed – June 23 7:00 pm Flight C only

Mon – June 28 Noon

 

Club Championships – Lots of MP’s Awarded for these games!

Friday, June 18 – Noon

Wed, June 23 – 7:00 PM Masters Game

 

We squeaked by with 5 tables for our first Monday Night Jackpot IMP night.
So, next Monday, we will reduce to 8 tables the minimum needed to offer the
$8 per table Jackpot Game. If we have 8 or more tables, $8 per table will be
contributed to the Jackpot and at the end of the night, ¼ will be awarded to
Flight A (2500+), Flight B (1000-2500), Flight C (200-1000) and Flight D
(0-200). At the end of six weeks (July 19) the individual in each of the
four flights receiving the most IMP’s will be awarded a Free Play! (As
usual, if we have under 5 tables, everyone plays for FREE).

 

Friday Nights are Wine & Cheese Pot-Luck Nights! Bring a dish to share and
receive $2 off your entry. This has turned out to be our best game for
mixing the Non-Life Masters with the “Old-Guard San Diego Players”. It must
be the Wine! Nonetheless, it is very fun and a great way to support our
Future Masters! Please make a special attempt to join us!

 

It’s come to our attention that our club needs to “adopt” a Charity. This is
good news, as we’d like to have Charity games and donate money to help some
needy cause in San Diego County. Please offer suggestions as to Charities
available for donations. 

 

Sunday nights are Swiss Pairs. This is the most popular European Event.
Please attend one of the games on Sunday night (6:00 PM) (Dinner – 5:00 PM)
to experience a new type of Bridge Game. This is my favorite event! Also,
Wed, June 30 at 7:00 PM will be a Swiss Pairs event.

 

Wednesday Night is Non-Life Master Night and Master Night! One side of the
club is non-life masters and on the other side, we have Jim Backstrom’s
Masters playing the “Weekly Choice”. This may be Swiss Pairs, Wild Hand’s,
MP Pairs, Barometer, Board-A-Match, etc; but, nonetheless, innovative.
